South Midlands Autojumble was first started in 1989 by two regular Autojumblers, John Harding and Phill Hodges  there was one event organised in 1989  and this was changed to two events in 1990. The event grew in popularity and there are now three events per year. one at Easter, one in July and one in September The Autojumbles have always been run at the Ross on Wye livestock centre as it has good parking and good hardstanding for the traders. and is situated just off the M50 Motorway.

South Midlands Autojumble have strived to keep costs low for both traders and customers and entry fee's have been kept to a minimum. In fact the cost to Traders has not increased in 30 years
